Police have warned a young girl who went missing from a care home could be preyed upon if she is not found.
Rebecca Mitchel-Pitcher, 15, went missing from a care home in Crawley at 3pm today.
She did not tell anyone where she was going but has previously gone to Kent.
She is 5' 6" and slim with blue eyes and brown shoulder length hair.
When she left the home she was wearing a grey hooded top, blue jeans and red trainers.
PC Dan Johnson said: "Rebecca has gone missing before but we are concerned for her safety as she could be taken advantage of by older people.
"In the past she has gone to Kent but we need to speak to anyone who might have seen her so that we can make sure she is ok.
"If you see Rebecca, please contact us."
Anyone who thinks they have seen Rebecca or knows where she is should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 922 of 10/09 or call 101.
If you see Rebecca and think she is in danger call 999 immediately.
