Months of rehearsal come to fruition when the lively musical Oliver! takes to the stage at Chatham House.

The annual joint production with Clarendon House features Lionel Bart's sensational score full of irresistible songs including Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You've Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I'd Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah, As Long As He Needs Me and many more.

Cast, crew and musicians have been working hard to make this one of the best productions in a long line of joint school successes.

Musical director Molly Hollman and director Vicky Moody believe that Oliver! will leave audiences wanting 'more' as it vividly brings to life Dickens' timeless characters as Victorian London street life clashes with the aristocracy.

Central to the story is Oliver, the boy who dared to ask for more, played by William Warrilow, with Larah Simpson as Nancy, Oli Webb as Fagin and Jack Dorman as Bill Sykes in the other lead roles.

Mrs Hollman said: "Oliver! has great music, a fabulous story and brilliant characters. It is a real thrill for both schools to put on this show."

The show runs from Thursday, March 25, to Sunday, March 28, at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 1.30pm. For ticket information, contact Chatham House on 01843 591075.
