Teams across the county have discovered their opponents for next summer’s inaugural Kent Regional Cricket League.

Scores of teams from the Feeder League East and West have been amalgamated into a new-look structure which offers a county-wide Premier Division from which teams can be promoted into Division 5 of the Kent League as well as more localised regional divisions.

Organising the divisions proved challenging for new chairman Keith Hemstalk.

However, he insisted clubs were put at levels which were deemed appropriate based on their past performance and said any clubs disappointed with the level they have been included would have to prove the league’s new committee wrong by winning promotion at the first attempt.
