DETECTIVES have released the names of a couple whose bodies were found at their home in Kent at the weekend.

A post mortem examination has revealed that 61-year-old Oliver Taylor, and Janet Hamilton-Taylor, 53, both died from stab wounds.

The couple lived at an address in Povey Road, Wainscott, near Rochester, where police were called on Sunday.

Sally Smith, police media and communications officer for Medway Police, said a Home Office pathologist had carried out the post mortem examination.

Det Insp Mike Morgan, who is in charge of the investigation, said: "We are in contact with the family of the couple who have all now been informed of the tragic event.

"We are not seeking anyone in connection with this incident and the findings of our investigation will be passed onto the coroner so that an inquest can be conducted."
