A collision between two vehicles blocked the slip road off the coastbound A299 Thanet Way at Whitstable on Tuesday.

One of the cars, a Peugeot 106, overturned and the driver had to be removed by firefighters. The other vehicle was a Vauxhall which suffered only minor damage.

The accident happened at about 3.15pm and one man was taken to hospital although his injuries were not thought to be serious.
