A car ended up on its roof in an accident this morning which closed the main Elham to Canterbury road.

It happened soon after 8am just outside Elham between the two Park Lane turnings near the village hall.

The road was closed while the accident was dealt with, causing traffic tailbacks.

Only one car was involved. The female driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
