A serious crash closed a main road for more than an hour.

Emergency services were called to Crabble Hill in Dover at 7.55pm.

Stagecoach confirmed buses were diverted due to the accident.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 7.55pm on Monday, March 22 following a report of a collision between a motorbike and a scooter in London Road, Dover.

"Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and assisted with a road closure while the incident was responded to.

"The road reopened shortly after 9.15pm."

The ambulance service has been contacted for comment.
