Crash victim air-lifted to hospital

A MAN has been flown by air ambulance to the Kent and Canterbury Hospital after a road accident today on the A28 at Chilham near Canterbury.

Kent Fire and Rescue crews were called to the scene at around 9.20am.

The 60-year-old man was cut free from his car and flown to hospital complaining of neck and back pains.

The young driver of a second car was taken to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford by road with injuries to his wrist and chest.
