Crews called to kitchen

TWO Island fire crews were called to a house after reports of smoke coming from a pan on a stove.

Fire fighters used breathing apparatus to deal with the fire in Poppy Cresent, Minster,just after 6am this morning (Saturday).

Two adults suffering from smoke inhalation were rescued from the building.

Crews took about an hour to deal with the incident.
