QUAD bikers will return to Kent shores next month for the Big Sky beach cross festival.
The two-day competition at Margate main sands was held for the first time last year and more than 100 quad and motocross bikes are expected at this year’s event on Saturday and Sunday, February 23-24.
Race organiser Tony Nash said: “We were amazed at the response last year. It was clear the crowds really enjoyed watching our sport and that made a real difference to the competitors.
“They can’t wait to return and have told other riders how good Margate is, which is why we’ve got such a high level of interest this year.”
The Quad Racing Association lays out a spectacular track on the sands with jumps, twists, turns and undulations and a dozen 20-minute races take place each day between 10am and 4pm.
