Lifeboat crews battled force six winds to rescue a 21ft cruiser with three crew onboard.

The Sheerness all-weather lifeboat was called to the liquefied natural gas jetty at the Isle of Grain on the River Medway just after noon today.

After attaching a line in high winds, crews towed the Bayliner Cruiser craft clear of the jetty and then into Queenborough harbour.
