Curtis Weston helped Swindon to promotion in 2007 but the young midfielder is eager to put one over them on Saturday.
A brief stay at the County Ground was a memorable one for the 22-year-old midfielder but he was quick to depart when Leeds and Dennis Wise came calling.
Wise had managed Weston at Millwall and took him to Swindon before taking him along for the ride at Leeds the following season.
Weston said: "I enjoyed my time at Swindon and it was a good year. I didn’t play toward the end of the season when Paul Sturrock came in [when Wise took over at Leeds] but that’s the way football works.
"I played a good 30 games for them and enjoyed my time there. I was there when we got promoted on the day and it was a good experience for me.
"I don’t think the Swindon fans minded too much when I left. I didn’t want to be at the club and the gaffer didn’t want me to be at the club so that was that.
"I will see a few of the old Swindon boys and we will have a bit of banter before the game. When the game kicks off then Gillingham are the team I’m playing for and I’ll just have to get stuck in."
