Cyclist in crash tragedy is named

POLICE have named a pedal cyclist who died when his machine was involved in an accident with a car in a Kent village.

He was 65-year-old Michael Wright, of Cryals Road, Matfield, near Tunbridge Wells.

The tragedy happened in Matfield on Thursday, July 6. An inquest into Mr Wright’s death has been opened and adjourned.
