A service of commemoration will be held in Margate on Friday to mark the 64th anniversary of the D Day landings.

Veterans from Aldershot and the Mayor of Rushmoor will join Margate Mayor Cllr Brian Sullivan, Margate Charter Trustees and local service veterans at 2pm at the war memorial at Trinity Gardens, Trinity Hill. There will not be a formal parade.
