Double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes is Britain's favourite sportswoman.

That's according to a poll by the Women's Sport and Fitness Foundation.

Dame Kelly, the 800 and 15-hundred metre champion from the Athens Olympics, beat world marathon record holder Paula Radcliffe.

Olympic hurdle champion Sally Gunnell came in third.
