A woman has danced and dieted her way from a size 18 to a size eight in just nine months.
Now Sarah Stanley, of Greatstone, is planning to pass on her slimming secrets, and has set up a dieting group in Lydd.
Mother of two Sarah, 34, weighed 15 stone when she joined Weightwatchers in New Romney last September.
Since then she has lost weight every week and weighs just 10 stone.
“I was always slim and then I had children and let myself go,” she says.
“Losing the weight was just about being very good and sticking to the diet and being very focused.
“The reason I did it was health, so that I would be around for my children in a few years’ time - and also vanity, to be fair.”
Sarah lives in Roberts Road with her husband Barry and her two boys Jacob, nine, and Eliot, seven.
A keen dancer, she says that regular exercise was also key to helping her lose weight.
She said: “I danced anyway. I do tap, jazz and modern at a club in Rye. I also have a stepper at home and walk the dogs. Being a mum occupies me as well.”
