Dartford boss Tony Burman has confirmed that defender Tom Bonner has signed for the club after a successful spell on trial.

Bonner, 22, came through the ranks at Northampton before moving on to Rushden, and playing last season at Ilkeston in Blue Square Bet North.

The centre-back has netted twice in pre-season, and has impressed Burman enough to secure a deal at Princes Park.

“Tom’s decided to stay with us,” said Burman (pictured). “He’s done well in pre-season and will be a good asset to our side.”
