MEDWAY companies are being invited to attend the biggest construction event in the county.

Construction Expo 07, organised by the North Kent Construction Skills Project and Business Link, is being held on Wednesday, June 27, at Chatham’s Historic Dockyard.

The event will bring together contractors, developers, architects, surveyors, suppliers, town planners and training providers.

Kim Fletcher from Business Link said: "This is a major opportunity for Medway companies involved in the construction sector.

"Whether you are a plumber, plasterer, builder or a builder’s merchant – this event is not to be missed.

"With more than 50 exhibitors and 500 businesses attending, it is a great way to gain new customers and to develop and grow your supply chain. Visitors can attend for free but it is a good idea to register as soon as possible."

The even takes place from 8am to 4pm. A free barbecue and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
