Dead body is named as missing homeless man

The body of a man discovered in scrubland last weekend has been formally identified as that of missing man David Warren.

Police were called to the site near Beechenlea Lane in Swanley on Sunday afternoon, May 4, after a member of the public made the grim discovery.

Mr Warren's body was removed and an inquest was opened and adjourned on Friday.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Mr David Warren, 62, vanished three months ago. He had no fixed address and chose to sleep rough mainly within the Swanley area and Dartford.
