Death crash victim named

A MAN who died after his car crashed into an electricity sub-station in Hawkhurst at the weekend has been named as 47-year-old Michael Wright.

Mr Wright lived at Hawkhurst. The accident happened at the junction of the High Street and Delmonden Road.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned at Tunbridge Wells. Mr Wright was driving a blue TVR when the accident happened. He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.

The cause of the accident, which did not involve any other vehicles, is not yet known.
