Three cars were involved in a minor accident near the Chestfield tunnel on the Thanet Way on Tuesday morning.

The accident on the London-bound carriageway happened just before 7.45am and led to tailbacks of more than mile for rush hour traffic.

The outside lane was blocked to traffic and no injuries were reported.

Police were still clearing the incident at 9am.
