Delighted Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish vowed to enjoy the moment after winning promotion to Blue Square Bet Premier on Sunday.
Daish guided the Fleet to a 4-2 play-off final win at Farnborough and secure an immediate return to the top flight of non-league football.
"It hasn't really sunk in personally yet, but I'm so pleased for the players," said Daish, pictured.
"I'm going to enjoy this moment because you have to at moments like this - they don't come around very often."
Daish praised his players, adding: "They have been absolutely incredible for me with their willingness to bounce back from adversity, and we have had our doubters as well.
"We were 30 seconds away from beating AFC Wimbledon in a terrific FA Cup run and they have picked themselves up from that and gone on to do this.
"The young lads have really stepped up to the plate and we've done it the hard way, losing people like Preston Edwards and Ashley Carew and against Farnborough we lost Derek Duncan in the warm-up, but Joe Howe came in and I thought he was outstanding.
"I didn't think there was a weak link in our team and we have done it away from home. Now they know what it is like to win, they've got a trophy and medals to show for it and will want more of it."
