Biddenden TV star Denise Van Outen uncovered £90,000-worth of cocaine during her nine-day trek through Peru.
Miss Van Outen made the discovering mid-way through the South American adventure to the ruins of Machu Picchu, 13,000ft above sea level.
She was with radio DJ Fearne Cotton, X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, singer Gabriella Cilmi and Total Wipeout presenter Amanda Byram.
As well as helping to raise £100,000 for charity Breast Cancer Care, the 36-year-old presenter gave the police a helping hand by uncovering one-and-a-half kilos of cocaine hidden behind some rocks.
"It was a shedload of coke, though, and the whole thing seems utterly unreal now," she told the Daily Mirror.
"I spotted it from out of the corner of my eye as I went to find a makeshift toilet - a big, clear plastic bag containing loads of white powder.
"Initially, I couldn't quite believe what I was seeing and wasn't too sure what to do with it.
"I had visions of me being framed by police clutching the stuff.
"But I handed it straight over to our security guys who then had to satellite phone through to local police.
"It was given to them and taken away. Apparently it was probably dropped by drug smugglers attempting to cross the border."
The celebrities and six women, who have all suffered from breast cancer, survived bouts of food poisoning and altitude sickness to complete the 17km climb on Friday.
The trek was filmed and will be aired as a two-part documentary on ITV2 soon.
