At the end of the weekend the 34-year-old German national failed to return him and hasn't done so since.

It is now believed the child is with his mother, who has black shoulder length hair, in Germany, Switzerland, Austria or other parts of Central Europe.

Today, the High Court and judge Mr Justice Peel explained their concern for the child's safety and asked anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.

Emmanuel's father, who has not been named by the court, said: “I am devastated by Emmanuel’s sudden disappearance. I am so worried about his safety and urge anyone who knows anything to come forward and assist."

Ms Nobis is thought to have linked to Huefingen, Weiler im Allgaeu, Lake Constance area, Scheidegg, and Lindenberg in Allgaue in Germany, as well as Bregenz in Austria and Latsch and Svegein in Switzerland.
