Kent-based developer Hillreed Homes has dreamed up a novel way to say thanks to families moving from one of its houses to another - a £500 loyalty bonus.

The idea came after the company realised that it was not unusual for people who had spent happy years in one Hillreed Homes property to upgrade, or downsize to another of the company's homes a few years down the line.

Jo Richards of Hillreed Homes said: "As a company we have been building homes in the South East for more than 35 years so there are thousands of people living in a Hillreed Homes' property.

"It often happens that someone already living in a Hillreed Homes property, seeks to buy another which is very gratifying.

"This is particularly noticeable at Kings Hill where we have been building at various attractive sites for more than 15 years and those who bought in the early days, are now coming back seeking another of our properties as their lifestyles have changed.

"As a result we felt it would be good to offer those currently living in our homes the opportunity to take advantage of a £500 loyalty bonus if they wish to buy or part exchange one of our brand new homes being marketed."

Hillreed Homes properties available at Kings Hill include two bedroom flats at £194,950, three bedroom semi-detached houses at £329,950 and the detached four bedroom Woodchurch at £431,950.
