PEOPLE in Kent are being asked if they can identify a man with part of a finger missing who his found dead in woods in the north of England.
The man's body was discovered at Hebden Bridge in Yorkshire on Wednesday, August 3, this year.
The man had no form of identification on him and despite extensive enquiries the coroner's office in Halifax says there are still no clues as to his identity.
He was white, 5ft 9ins tall, with mid-brown short receding hair. He had blue eyes.
He was dressed in a black top, grey T-shirt with an image of the Statue of Liberty on it, blue jeans, two pairs of mismatched socks and blue trainers.
He appeared to have been living rough for a few days. The man had the top phalanx (tip) of his little left finger missing. He also had a tattoo on the inner part of his left arm of a 'V' with a equals sign and the letters TNT tattooed beneath.
On the right forearm the man he had a tattoo of an eagle landing and on the right upper arm the letters RP with an electric flash underneath. An e-fit of the man has also been created.
