DETECTIVES investigating a brutal assault at a Kent club are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

A 51-year-old man suffered serious injuries to his face and head in the incident at the Casino Rooms in Blue Boar Lane, Rochester.

Police spokeswoman Tessa Hallett said: "The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday, February 12, between 1am and 1.15am inside the club. A number of people may have been involved."
