Did you witness fatal crash?

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died on Saturday.

The biker was travelling down Charing Hill from Challock, when his bike struck the kerb and hit a fence.

The man, 38, from Chilham, came off the bike just before the junction with Pilgrim Way.

A member of the public tried to resuscitate him but the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

An inquest is likely to be opened later this week, when the man will be named.

• Police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to call the Witness Appeal Line on 01622 798538.
