Kent is set for the big switchover this time next year.

The date for the county's change to digital television has been revealed - and it will happen sometime between May 30 and June 27 2012.

That means anyone with an analogue television will no longer be able to use it after that date unless they have a Freeview box.

Assistant regional manager Tony Gray says the switch will bring "more channels and better sound, paving the way for a new era in broadcasting."
