DJ Barry Bethell made a brief appearance at Canterbury Crown Court yesterday for an application to extend the custody time limits which was granted.

Bethell, 64, of Kimberley Grove, Seasalter faces a number of indecency charges and his trial date has been set for November 11.

The court will have a further directions hearing in October.
