Do you recognise armed robbery suspect?

DETECTIVES have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an armed robbery at the Woolwich Building Society at the Bluewater shopping centre at Greenhithe.

A man used what is believed to be a handgun to steal about £2,000 from the building society on Thursday.

The man, who is thought to be aged in his late 20s or early 30s, then left the bank, went down the stairs to the ground floor and into Marks and Spencer.

As he walked through M&S he took off his cap and walked out into the car park.

Detectives are trying to identify how he left the Bluewater car park, whether it was in a vehicle, bus or taxi.

Anyone who knows the man’s identity or who saw him leave Bluewater is asked to contact the police.
