A MAN molested a young girl while playing games such as hospitals, kiss chase and Simon says with her, a court heard.

Ronald Moore, 62, of Wildman Close, Gillingham, is facing jail after a jury at Maidstone Crown Court convicted him of indecency charges.

The court heard that Moore would give the girl, who was aged six or seven, and other children sweets and snacks at his house.

Fiona Moore-Graham, prosecuting, said the girl's favourite was kiss chase. She described how when Moore caught her he would kiss her on the lips.

When they played hospitals he pulled her knickers down and looked at her private parts. He also lifted her dress and kissed her belly and got her to touch him. "He did it on five occasions or more," said Miss Moore-Graham.

Moore denied three charges of indecent assault and one of indecency with a child between January 1 2001 and June 8 last year. In court he made blanket denials that any indecency happened.

He was convicted of all four charges. Judge Keith Simpson adjourned sentence until October 15. Moore was granted bail.
