Congratulations - you've won the raffle. It's in the dog!
That's the unusual scenario facing Easter Egg raffle organisers after Labrador Kimmy ate the winnings.
Every year Malling Lions Club runs an Easter Egg raffle, where eggs are handed out to bars and businesses which raffle them off to customers.
Peter Collins, landlord of the Chequers Inn, Aylesford, who supports several charities, heard about the raffle and decided to take part for the first time.
So the 14-inch egg was lovingly displayed on the bar and the donations began coming in from regulars....until eight-month-old pub Labrador Kimmy woofed down the prize.
She had jumped onto the bar early one morning, sent the egg crashing to the ground and began devouring the shattered chunks of chocolate.
Mr Collins said: “We’ve had her a few months and well, what can I say, she is a playful little thing, who obviously likes chocolate!”
He immediately told the Lions Club what had happened and has pledged to buy a replacement egg.
