Stuck for what to do over the bank holiday weekend? Well, you need look no further afield than our own county. It has been voted among the country's best for entertainment.
Leeds Castle, near Maidstone, and Howletts Zoo, near Canterbury, made the top 25 list for bank holiday destinations to visit this weekend, according to Ask.com search engine.
Leeds Castle never disappoints with its idyllic setting and mix of history and architecture.
Howletts offers 90-acre parkland with close encounter experiences with tigers, gorillas and giant anteaters.
So don't let the rain put you off - here's a snapshot of what else is happening in Kent:
* A Mining Memories Day is taking place on Monday at Fowlmead Country Park at Sholden, near Deal. People will get the chance to find out about life at Betteshanger Colliery and the Kent Coalfield between 9.30am and 4pm.

* Geri Halliwell will be signing copies of her new children's book, Ugenia Lavender, at Waterstone's in Bluewater on Monday from 2pm to 3pm;
* The RAF is celebrating its 90th anniversary at a former Battle of Britain airfield in Manston, Thanet, on Sunday. The free event, opened by former spitfire pilot Denis 'Bud' Abbott, will be joined by the world-acclaimed RAF Red Arrows;
* A host of special events will be happening in Dickens World in Chatham to celebrate the life and work of the legendary author.
