Welling's unbeaten Blue Square Bet South record came to an end at bogey side Dorchester on Saturday.

The Wings have now won just once in their last nine league games against Dorchester but they remain top of the table.

Jamie Day returned to the squad after attending his brother's wedding last weekend but only named himself on the bench.

It was an unchanged team for the Wings with top scorer Andy Pugh leading the attack.

Welling started slowly and went a goal behind on 15 minutes when Chris Flood converted from the penalty spot after Loui Fazakerley fouled Rico Wilson.

Ben Dickenson made it 2-0 on 34 minutes after Fazakerley misjudged his header back to keeper Dan Thomas.

Welling should have equalised two minutes later when Pugh set up Luis Cumbers but keeper Alan Walker Harris produced a stunning save on his debut.

Gary Bowles added a third early in the second half as Welling's defensive nightmare continued with Thomas and Anthony Acheampong both at fault.

Skipper Jack Parkinson (pictured) pulled one back on 54 minutes with an excellent low drive from the edge of the area.

Lee Clarke claimed a second with five minutes left when he headed in from close range after Ben Martin headed back a far post corner but Welling failed to trouble the Dorchester keeper in the time that remained.

Welling's day went from bad to worse after the final whistle when Martin was shown a second yellow card for dissent and he will now miss the derby at Bromley on September 24.

A 90th-minute equaliser denied 10-man Bromley maximum points at home to Salisbury on Saturday.

The Lillywhites looked on course for victory until Matt Wright equalised in stoppage time.

Bromley went ahead on 27 minutes when Gareth Williams lobbed home from 40 yards after on-loan Charlton keeper Conor Gough's clearance went straight to him.

Jake Reid equalised eight minutes later from the penalty spot for Salisbury but Salifou Ibrahima converted Ugo Udoji's cross before half-time to restore Bromley's advantage.

The hosts played most of the second half with 10 men after Nathan Green was given a second yellow card for a foul.
