Dover climbed to second in the Blue Square South table with a thumping 4-0 win over Havant & Waterlooville at Crabble on Saturday.

Frannie Collin was the inspiration for the victory, scoring two and setting up another as Andy Hessenthaler's side impressed.

Dover were in command after two quickfire goals sent them in at the break 2-0 up.

The opener came in the 39th minute when Collin, who had alread struck a post, fired in an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box.

There was a little more fortune about Collin's second goal three minutes later as his free-kick took a wicked deflection off a defender to leave the keeper stranded.

Collin was also heavily involved in the Whites' third goal seven minutes into the second half as he skinned the full-back before finding Adam Birchall who finished high into the net.

Dover's fourth came on 85 minutes when Shaun Welford showed good skill to beat two defenders before toe-poking home under the keeper.

Havant had plenty of possession and should have scored at least once but Dover defended resolutely and deserved a clean sheet.
