Daryl McMahon admits he has found it frustrating being restricted to a bit-part role in Dover Athletic’s recent matches but insists he is now fit again and raring to go.
After coming on as a 70th-minute substitute in the 2-2 draw against Havant & Waterlooville, the Irishman, who has been sidelined by a foot problem, said; "I have been back training for three weeks now and been fit to play for the past three or four games.
"It’s been frustrating not getting many minutes in our last few games but it just goes to show the competition for places we’ve got in the squad with myself, Calum (Willock) and Moses (Ademola) all coming off the bench against Havant."
McMahon believes a specialist has finally diagnosed the problem with his foot.
He said: "They told me the base of my toe was dislocating by itself and they’ve given me some insoles to wear in my boot so that I have my foot in a different position."
