Someone who bought a Lotto ticket in the Dover area early in December is a triple millionaire - but hasn't yet claimed their prize.
People are being urged to check the National Lottery tickets they bought for the draw which took place on Wednesday December 2, as they could be £3,786,303 better off.
The winning Lotto numbers on that date were 2, 19, 22, 25, 34 and 47. The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Monday May 31 to make their claim.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to the Good Causes – adding to the £23 billion already raised through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery launched in November 1994.
A National Lottery spokesperson said: "We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing jackpot prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life. We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.
"Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win."
To jog Lotto players’ memories, Peter Kay’s Animated All Stars topped the UK singles chart at the time with The Official BBC Children In Need Medley, while Susan Boyle was at the top of the album chart with I Dreamed A Dream.
Closer to home, local football club, Dover Athletic, were in action the night prior to the Lotto draw (1 December 2009). The Blue Square Conference South side were away at Staines Town and came away with a precious point after a 0-0 draw.
Anyone who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0845 910 0000.
