A boozed up driver got behind the wheel of a van more than five times over the limit.

Mark Page, 36, had 190mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mg.

West Kent Magistrates' Court in Sevenoaks heard he was caught drink driving a Vauxhall Combo van on March 25.

The incident happened at Bidborough Ridge, Bidborough.

Page, of Knight Road, Tonbridge, was handed a suspended prison sentence of 120 days.

He was disqualified for three years and must attend appointments with the Probation Service for a year.

Page must also pay costs of £85.
