Do you like supping real ale and feel you have a talent for capturing just the right words to describe its delectable taste?
The Park Gate Inn in Hollingborune is taking part in the Vintage Inns six week Festival of Award Winning Beers, and is looking for someone who can describe beers in flowery, but honest, prose.
Park Gate Inn landlady Victoria Hampshire said: "Over the next six weeks my inn will host a total of nine real ales as part of our ongoing efforts to promote the national drink. We are looking for a member of the public who can describe, review and ultimately wax lyrical on the qualities of the festivals award winning real ales."
Anyone wishing to apply should visit The Park Gate Inn, in Hollingbourne, between Saturday, March 14 and March 18.
Candidates will be asked to email a review of the first real ale on offer, Doom Bar, to vintage.reviews@gmail.com before Wednesday, March 18.
The writer of the best review will be asked back, over the remaining five weeks of the festival, with a companion, to sample and write about the remaining award winning ales.
The regional winner will go through to a grand UK tasting final that could even land them a trip to the Czech Republic, home to the legendary Budweiser Budvar brewery
