Driver denies causing woman's death in Tonbridge

A motorist has denied killing a woman outside Tonbridge railway station.

Lorraine Elliott, 56, pleaded not guilty to causing the death of Irene Walters by careless driving on September 23 last year.

Elliott, of Pegasus Court, South Street in Yeovil, Somerset, appeared at Maidstone Crown Court today Friday.

She will stand trial on November 14 and was released on bail by Judge Michael Carroll.
