A MOTORIST was found collapsed at the wheel of his car in a Kent town.

Police were called to New Road, Chatham, at 2.30pm on Thursday. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance but was pronounced dead.

Police diverted traffic while the road was closed, but it reopened at about 3.45pm.

No identity has yet been revealed as the man’s next of kin are being contacted.
