A man suffered severe facial injuries after he lost control of his car and it rolled on to its roof.
The incident happened in Boxley Road, Walderslade Village, on Monday.
Two crews from Medway fire station were called to the scene shortly after 6.30pm. When they arrived the man had freed himself from the car.
Police closed the road for more than an hour while paramedics treated him. He was later taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said: "When we arrived there was one car on its roof. The casualty was out of the vehicle and had quite severe injuries to his face. We made the scene safe and he was treated by the paramedics."
