Driver hurt in crash in fog

A DRIVER had to be cut free from his Ford Escort van after it collided with a stationary milk float in Littlebourne, near Canterbury, early today.

The accident happened in thick fog shortly after 4am. The 39-year-old motorist, from Sandwich, was taken to hospital with neck and leg injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
