A LORRY driver was trapped in his vehicle after two HGVs were involved in a collision on the M2 motorway.

Firefighters and police were called to the scene of the incident at about 7.45am on Monday between junctions three and four, the Chatham to Gillingham stretch.

The driver was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital at Gillingham with what are thought to be minor injuries.
