A drug dealer who shot a rival dead over a £24,000 debt and fled to Holland has been jailed for a minimum of 30 years.

John Seton, 24, blasted 29 year-old Jon Bartlett in the face with a 12-bore shotgun at a meeting in a quiet back road in Kent.

Seton, previously from Yalding but now of no fixed address, then started a new life in Arnhem using a false name and passport.

He was arrested for drugs offences six months later, and was jailed before his true identity was discovered.

Mr Bartlett ran a garage but was involved in the sale and purchase of batches of cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamines and cannabis.

Seton denied murder but was convicted after a trial last month.
