Drugs raid police seize pit bull dogs

Seven suspected illegal pit bull terriers have been seized by police during a drugs raid in Dover.

Officers with a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act went to an address in Pioneer Road, Dover, on Tuesday, March 30, following complaints from local residents about suspected drug offences.

A quantity of cannabis was found at the property in addition to three adult pit bulls and four puppies.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possessing herbal cannabis, abstracting electricity and possessing dangerous dogs.

He is currently in custody at Dover Police Station.
