These four adorable kittens were found dumped at a bus stop in Herne Bay.
The 10-week-old cats were handed into a vets on Tuesday, after a man discovered them inside a shopping bag in Reculver Road.
He had just returned from taking his children to school when he spotted the bag.
He took the kittens to Animal House Veterinary Services in Canterbury Road and handed them over to receptionist Lin Saunders.
Staff at the practice said the kittens were in good condition and speculated the owner had abandoned them in desperation.
Lin said: “The man who handed in the kittens said he was a bit shocked because people were walking past it.
“When any animal is dumped it does shock the system.
"We were relieved to see the kittens were in good health. It’s always disappointing when something like this happens, but fortunately there was a nice man nearby.”
Practice manager Carol Everest said she was confident the kittens, nicknamed Eeny, Meeny, Miny and Mo, would all be re-homed soon.
She said: “They are fine, they have been looked after well. I think somebody has been desperate and couldn’t find a home for them.
"It is a shame because they could have just brought them in. If they got out of the bag they may have been run over.
“Two of them have already found a home because a lady in the waiting room said she would have them.
“One of the staff recently lost her cat and we hope we can find a home for the other one.”
