Welling United continued their march towards the Blue Square Bet South title with a comfortable win over Eastbourne Borough.

Jamie Day’s men won the match 3-0 and sit 11 points clear at the top of the table, as they chase a place in the Premier Division.

Scott Kinch headed Welling infront on 20 minutes, from a Ross Lafayette cross, and that’s the way it stayed until the break.

Anthony Acheampong (pictured) doubled the advantage just before the hour mark, as the defender headed home his seventh goal of the season.

A third straight 3-0 victory was wrapped up late on when Kiernan Hughes Mason slotted home.

Welling finished the game off when Ben Martin was dismissed for kicking out at Eastbourne’s Charles Elliot.
