Managerless Chatham Town can still complete a miraculous escape from the Ryman League Division 1 South relegation zone after back-to-back wins over Easter.

Under first-team coach Kevin Watson, the Chats followed Saturday's 3-2 win over play-off chasing Walton Casuals with another 3-2 win on Monday, this time at Eastbourne Town.

The hosts were 2-0 up at the break but Charlie Ticehurst halved the deficit on 55 minutes and Kane Rice grabbed an equaliser a minute from time before Watson snatched a stoppage-time winner to keep Town's season alive.

Chatham will escape the drop-zone if they can overcome leaders Bognor - who need to win to secure the title - by more than one goal and Corinthian Casuals fail to beat Whitstable Town or Whyteleafe lose at home to basement-boys Horsham YMCA.

The Oystermen are up to 15th after a 4-0 win over YMCA on Saturday followed by a surprise 1-0 victory at play-off chasing Ramsgate on Monday.

Ian Pulman scored the only goal at Southwood in the last minute as Town made it four wins in a row and inflicted just the Rams' third defeat in 19 games in 2011.

Ramsgate can no longer secure a play-off place even with a win against Burgess Hill on the final day as fifth-placed Dulwich Hamlet and sixth-placed Walton & Hersham - both three points clear of the Rams - meet on the final day.

Ramsgate can still finish as top Kent team if they match Faversham's result at Worthing on Saturday.

The Lilywhites went down 2-0 at title-chasing Met Police on Saturday but bounced back with a 3-1 derby victory over Sittingbourne on Monday.

Richard Sinden opened the scoring shortly before the break and Simon Brown made it 2-0 on 55 minutes, only for Hicham Akhazzan to halve the deficit two minutes later.

A Damian Abel penalty 25 minutes from time secured the win for Town, who are a place and point behind Ramsgate, but a place and three points clear of the Brickies - who were beaten 5-0 at home to promotion-chasing Bognor Regis on Saturday.
